What do I receive with my laptop?
All laptops come ready to use with all
the accessories listed in the description.
You may wish to purchase additional items but this is a matter of choice and
not necessity for using the laptop.
Is there an operating system?
Yes, all Laptops have an operating System preloaded unless otherwise stated.
Does it come with MS Office?
No, all our machines only have the operating system preloaded unless otherwise stated.
How good is the laptop battery?
All used batteries are tested to ensure they provide at least one hour
of use. New batteries should last for approximately 2 hours.
How soon is my order dispatched?
Normally within 48 hours but allow up to 5 working days.
How is it sent to me?
All orders over £125 are delivered by City Link courier and cost £15. Orders under £125 cost £7.95 and will be sent using City Link's next day City Bags.
What accessories do I need?
We can supply almost any laptop accessory. Browse our website for your
choice.
How Can I Pay?
We accept all major credit cards and debit cards, cheques, BACS and electronic
transfer. Goods will not be dispatched until cleared funds are available.
Allow up to 7 days for BACS and Electronic Transfers to clear.
What warranty will I receive?
New and factory refurbished cheap
laptops come with the manufacturer’s stated warranty.
Normally 1 year but can be up to 3 years. Used laptops come
with 6 months warranty.
Can I get my laptop repaired when the warranty runs
out?
The laptop centre deals in branded laptops which helps
to ensure that replacement parts are obtainable. A full repair service is
available and our trained technicians will advise as to the cost effectiveness
of the repair before undertaking any work.
Is there adequate after sales service?
We offer a 7 day no quibble returns service, should you
find the laptop you have purchased in unsuitable. Our trained technicians
will give telephone help and advice on technical matters. For day
to day operating queries where no fault is involved, we recommend
that novice users enlist the help of a knowledgeable friend or relative.
