Refurbishing Laptops
How we refurbish our “refurbished laptops”:
All our refurb laptops have come from large corporate companies, have been very well looked after, would have been regularly serviced and upgraded.
When these refurbished notebooks/laptops arrive they go through the following procedure:
1. Check Specification of the recondition laptops (Make, Model, Processor, RAM, Hard Drive, Optical drive etc...)
2. Format Hard drive by Zero writing three times to the hard drive “heads”.
3. Test (using PC Check) Processor, memory, System board, Screen, Hard Drive, Optical drive, Battery and network connections including WIFI. (Any failed parts if cost effective replaced. If not cost effective machine is striped and parts sold.)
4. Visual cosmetic check of the refurbished laptops. Checking for any cracks and other noticeable damage to the machine. (Damaged parts are replaced if cost effective, if not the laptop is striped and sold for spares.)
5. Preload the Operating System that the machine was originally sold with and is tested for internet connection and any updates.
6. The refurbished laptops are then cleaned and put with the correct AC Charger ready to be sent.
