THE COST
We Charge £15.00 (Free if repair undertaken) for collection & return of your Laptop/Computer.
To include an Engineers report, detailing the fault and the cost to repair.

THE PROCESS
After we have received your enquiry form you will be contacted and given a fault number, we will also confirm your collection address and the day and time of collection. Once we have received your computer and inspected it we'll come back to you quickly and efficiently to advise you what the next step should be and what costs you might expect to incur.

THE REPAIR
If you  decide to have your computer repaired we will start straight away and you will be contacted when the unit is ready for delivery. Please note that we can not save data  and that all data should be backed up before the computer is picked up. Software can only be reloaded if original disks and licences are provided. (the £15 Collection and report charge will be waived if repair undertaken.)

THE PACKAGING
We appreciate that you may have long-ago discarded the packaging that came with your computer  for an additional charge we'll provide you with packaging that will protect your machine in transit. 

THE PAYMENT
Whether your laptop is repaired or returned to you unrepaired Portable IT Ltd will take payment from you when the laptop is ready to leave our premises. A member of our Accounts Department will call you personally and payment is usually made by Credit / Debit Card, unless by prior agreement. Proof of payment must be made prior to the laptop leaving our premises. Every customer is provided with a full VAT invoice

THE GUARANTEE
Your Laptop will have a 90-day guarantee on its original fault. Meaning, if your laptop has the same fault within 90 days of repair, we will fix it again. Free of charge.
