There seems to be a trend over the last few years of new websites popping up, often selling the same things as we do, but I'm sure this probably applies to a lot of other industries as well as computers and laptops, I know we have to deal with competition that is just how it goes especially in challenging times, but what annoys me is that so many of them offer things like a 1 year warranty but have no address, phone number or company/VAT number on their website, if they are offering a better service and/or product than us then fair enough, now I'm sure most people are wise enough not to fall for this but I still think there should be some rules that a business must be as transparent as possible.

Nobody is perfect, we are a small business and try to offer the best service we can and occasionally we get it wrong, I just feel like some want to take a 'short cut' by selling products that they have no real intention of standing by, I believe that all UK companies should be required to provide a phone number, company/VAT number and registered address on their Contact page, and I mean the office they reside at, not a postal forwarding address!, after all what have they got to hide?.
